PROBLEM

Pet owners relocating domestically or internationally face complex regulations, strict deadlines, and fragmented information. The process is stressful, time-consuming, and often requires expensive professional services.

SOLUTION

I designed a personalized relocation planning tool that generates a smart checklist and timeline based on travel and pet details — helping users stay compliant, organized, and in control.

USER TESTING & ITERATION

I used mid-fidelity wireframes to test different ways of displaying timelines and checklists. Testing revealed a split preference: some users favored a structured List View, while others preferred a Calendar View for deadline clarity. Instead of choosing one, I introduced a toggle allowing users to switch between both formats. In later-stage prototype testing, users responded positively to this flexibility, and onboarding success exceeded 95% with minimal confusion.

MVP & EXPANSION STRATEGY

The initial launch would focus on validating the core task management feature through real-world usage. Future phases include collaborative planning, secure document storage, calendar integrations, and destination-based pet resources — with long-term potential to evolve into a comprehensive pet relocation ecosystem connecting users with agencies, reviews, and travel support.
